Finally after 2 months of work The video is finished and I am happy with it. This was an experience that I actually enjoyed making because it felt like I was a director. Telling my friends what to do and where to go really encouraged me to try my absolute best. The audio dubbing was the hardest part because we didn't anticipate it at the beach but the 3 days we went to shoot, it was always windy. But my favorite part was making the opening sequence because finding the clips and making sure it looks like a real production company made it felt nice. The way I had to sync the music to the opening sequence was also a bit challenging because the drops in the music were too early to the parts shown on the screen so we had to find parts of the song to extend the drop. And that took the most work other than the dubbing. We tried to put the beach background with the dialogue but it ended up sounding really bad so we just had to mute nut in the end I am happy with how it came out. 

 I started out today at 12:00 Pm on a Sunday morning and brought my friends with me to help record the scene. It was nice and sunny outside and the beached was pretty crowded. The phones started to overheat because of the temperature but I was able to cool it down by putting it in the shad for 5 mins. After we started by taking a walking shot from the far back of the beach and slowly walking with 10 second clips fading in and coming back until we reached the water. It was a little hard to keep the camera steady while walking in the water so it took multiple tries to get it perfect. Then I had to dip my phone in the water for a second and which was really hard because either it was dipped in too fast or i stopped recording before I put it in the water. It took about 15 minutes for me to get the shot right. But I finally got a clean shot that looked pretty nice. After that I started to run into problems; first the go pro wasn't turning on and that was a big problem because we needed ...

 The first day of filming was alright I got a few clips. It was hard to find a empty spot on the beach so I just had to settle with one that wasn't so cluttered. I had to do so many takes 

Me and my friends were going to film today but the weather wasn't nice. It started to rain hard and it wasn't stopping so I chose to go back to my place with my friends. I started to watch shots at the beach and what angles looked the best. And I made a plan to what I were going to do the next day. So I planned that we'll get to the beach around 12:00 when the sun is out and make sure there were have proper lighting so I can see. I'm probably going to dub the audio because of the background noise and it was said to be windy the next day. After I was going to prepare the go pro for the underwater shots. Then I'm going to see if the footage was the best it can be otherwise we'll reshoot the bad parts.

 I wanted to use the jaws theme because it fit the underwater part of it but I thought that it would make my intro less about the main creature but more about jaws. So, I chose to do royalty free music instead to get all into the theme of the movie. I wanted to get the Michael Myers theme also but I wasn't able and it didn't fit the movie theme because it was more for Halloween. I wanted the movie to be filmed at a location with not many people at the beach to give that scary vibe to the music. I will walk in slowly fading and getting closer to the water each time. Until finally the camera goes underwater and it cuts to the go pro scene.

The first page starts with the opening scene with lots of fading outs and in's while the camera moves closer to the ocean. After the second page there is a background of creepy water with pictures of the monster while showing all the title credits. Thne the scene starts with 2 teenagers talking to each other. They play tag and end up in the ocean. After talking to each other they start play fighting but what ends up happening is that one of them gets dragged down and teen 2 swims away. End scene    

 First part is going to be a fade in shot of the beach where it starts off black then acts like he eye view of somebody looking at the beach. As the beach is being seen the camera goes closer and closer to the shore line of the beach as we se people enjoying life. As we start to get more into the video we start to go into the water. As soon as the camera goes underwater the scene turns black. Until a few seconds later the music picks up again and images start showing of the creature known as the merman. Gives chills down the spine as it fades into the first part of the scene. Two teenagers show up and start playing at the beach talking to each other in the process unknowing as to what's going to happen to them. They talk to each other about school and things that are annoying and things that they like. Until one of them said to go to the ocean deep out. Eventually while they are swimming one of them gets dragged under screaming. The other panics and swims away to shore. End scene t...

 I want to be able to find a more remote location on the beach to film on because its so hard to find a less populated spot on the beach especially on weekends. We will have to record at the back of the beach first and keep going up to the shoreline without any distractions. I also hope that it does not rain that day because it has to be a nice sunny day to mask the horror genre.

 I want my title design to be dark and scary deep ocean themed with creepy music playing over it. I will show pictures of merman fossils in the video and have a lot of transition effects from the camera in the water to transparent pictures. It well say all the credits and look nice and clean in it. The pictures have to be good the music im going to use is going to be copyright free. I was also going to use Futora font for the titles becasue it looks nice and it fits my film really well. I want to be ab

 About Aliens that land on Earth and try to infect an entire planet with diseases to wipe out the human race. Its not that well liked of a show but it has its moments for being scary and is useful for all other things

 Silent Hill Revelation intro has to do with a mans mind ho turn into reality and all these monsters coming out of a single mind due to the trauma this man has faced over his dead wife. Silent Hill used to be a horror film that was very popular back in 2006 it was a scary movie that all the audience loved. But they made this film and did a 2nd one of it but remade it into something more high definition and up to todays standards. What titles are displayed during the opening sequence? The titles explained are the producers, executive producer, co producer, Music, Silent Hill DCP 2, And the Michael Bassett Film. What images are prioritized in the opening sequences.  There are many graphic images in the opening sequence with a big monster with lots of arms attacking humanoid nurses that are fighting back. While showing close ups of the nurses getting attacked and killed. The nurses look scary with lots of special effects in a 3d modeled room. What connotations do these images car...

 Art of the Title is a very useful site because it shows all of the title sequences for movies that caught many peoples eyes. It is also cool how it brings so many different TV shows from different cultures. But it lets you play the intros for so many tv shows and that helps me create ideas in the long run. Watch the Titles has about the same as Art of the title but it has more interview and other types of things movie related also. The homepage has all the developers of the site and all the people they interviewed with to make this happen.

 Us was a very strange movie full of jump scares and confusing backstories on what it is. Us is about a little family that moves into their new home starting a new life away from their old one. But strange things start to happen and a bunch of people in red suits break into their house with scissors in their hands. Soon  they find out they are not the only ones this is happening to in fact every person in the world has people in red suits after them. It is then found out that these people are doppelgangers of the real ones and are chasing after them. I like how intense and fast this movie is with a good plot and good acting to go with it. There is a lot of character development in this movie. The ending is what throws me off because it has nothing to do with the story line and its for a rather idiotic reason why this is happening. 

 Bird Box is about a woman who all of a sudden finds herself in a world of trouble where a bunch of people are trying to kill themselves for no exact reason. The Main character is pregnant and is trying to find a place that is safe for everybody. They find out that if you look outside and see something the person will try to kill themselves. What I like about this movie is the concept that is used and the way that its executed. What I don't like is the way its done and without showing how these things came to be caused this movie to move to fast and quickly causing it to be mediocre.

 A Quiet Place is about a whole world that is full of aliens that are attracted to sound and will attack anything they hear. The main story revolves around a family that is in a remote location talking only using sign language. They just have a new baby and are trying to take care of it while in this situation. There is a lot of long shots and over the shoulder shots showing what the person sees in the scene. They use lots of silence in the movie to show the eerie atmosphere with every little sound being heard. In the end of the movie the family gets split apart and multiple family members die. The story and the creepy atmosphere is what makes this movie good. The Movie has many quite and creepy scenes that makes the viewer nervous on what's going to happen next. The only elements that did not appeal to me was the acting was sometimes really bad with things not making sense most of the movie.

I will be doing my project in a horror genre because my film will be in the setting of underwater and will include me and other people swimming while something lurks beneath. I think this would be the best for it because it shows the the unknown in creatures that lurk the sea. 

 Horror movies are all about the fear of what's going to happen next pulling the audience into the movie with fast moving scenes and silence with creepy sounds to come with it. In thriller movies they use a lot of close up shots and moving shots to express the fear in  the characters. 

 Most action movies are full of fighting and shooting with the main character having a goal in the end of it. Movies such as John Wick and Fast and Furious have lots of moving shots, over the shoulder shots, and high shots.

Comedy genre used to make the audience laugh and enjoy themselves to the jokes or the actions the actors are doing on screen. Camera Shots such as the two shot, high and shots, and moving shot. And the use of props.
